(Cinnamomum verum, synonym C. zeylanicum) is native to Sri Lanka and Southern India. Ceylon cinnamon has very smooth and sweet taste. It is very different from Cinnamon sold in US grocery stores. Cassia sold as Cinnamon has very strong and spicy taste. Our cinnamon is excellent for baking, spice blends, drinks, chai and other gourmet delicacies.
